On November 12, 2021, we conducted a Digital Literacy Workshop aimed at empowering young people with essential skills for navigating the digital world safely and effectively.
Participants gained hands-on experience through practical activities designed to improve their proficiency in digital tools, online communication, and internet safety. The workshop emphasized critical thinking, recognizing misinformation, and maintaining digital privacy. Participants explored how to effectively manage their digital identities and practiced secure online behaviors.
Through interactive exercises, attendees learned to identify reliable sources, protect personal data, and communicate respectfully and responsibly online. Group discussions allowed participants to address common digital challenges and exchange experiences, fostering peer-to-peer learning and support.
The workshop concluded by encouraging participants to apply these newfound skills in everyday situations, reinforcing their ability to use technology confidently and ethically. To further support digital growth, we initiated an ongoing digital mentoring program, providing continuous learning opportunities and resources.
