Power of Art for Cooperation!

The Erasmus+ Key Action 1 Mobility project "Power of Art for Cooperation!" organized by Union De Citoyens Actifs, successfully took place from 8th to 16th May 2022, in the inspiring natural surroundings of Tara Mountain in Mitrovica, Serbia. The project brought together 40 enthusiastic young participants aged 18-30 from France, Serbia, Sweden, Spain, and Turkey.

Throughout the exchange, participants actively engaged in a variety of creative activities designed to enhance intercultural dialogue, mutual understanding, and cooperation through artistic expression. The project significantly contributed to personal and communal growth, forging meaningful connections and lasting friendships among participants from diverse backgrounds.

Achievements and Outcomes:

• Strengthened mutual understanding, tolerance, and respect across different cultures.

• Enhanced creativity and artistic expression as effective channels for intercultural communication.

• Broadened participants' knowledge and appreciation of various cultural traditions, histories, and religions.

• Successfully challenged and overcame stereotypes by fostering direct interaction among youths.

• Developed valuable linguistic and digital skills among participants.

Highlights of the Project:

• Engaging interactive workshops where participants proudly presented their cultures and identities.

• Dynamic role-playing activities emphasizing cooperation and creativity.

• An impressive final collaborative performance showcasing music, dance, and visual arts, which was warmly received by the local community.

Participants expressed immense satisfaction with their accommodations, meals, and logistical arrangements, all provided according to Erasmus+ guidelines. They enjoyed comfortable shared rooms at the mountain resort, fully equipped with modern amenities and conveniences.
